high-dog-440x440

Hidden heart erupts pulse flowers like dust-motes through air

Inner brain imagines mandalas

Plastic fractal rainbow images crystallize my mental skate-park

Unicorn day-dream deadly fantasias, hooligan holograms

Central hallucinations pulsating in infinite variety

Mad ravings by voices which echo incongruously

Suicidal strivings against concrete conformity

Schizoid simperings in the marrow of suburbia

Cracked actions in a bubble of sedition

Mutating madrigals which burble in tune

To the beat of the cosmos, galaxies and stars

Dreaming of vast swaying fields of marijuana

Drunk on delusions and midnight madness

Dying while hermit crabs crackle against rocks

Dying overcome by poisonous paranoia

Dying within while the world rages without

paperbark

Intricately gnarled paperbark tree
Curls on itself like a corkscrew
Reflected in mirror-flat waters
Of a lonely Billabong in the Pilbara
Rounded pebbles scattered about roots
Trunk burnt inside
Old as dreamtime
So grounded in its rich ripe roots,
Black-fella dryads lurking translucently
Circle water-lilies randomly on mirror-water
Purple flowers struggling above the crystal surface
Mist rises languidly, almost giving body to dryads
Reflections in reflections,
Distortion and fuzzification in hidden cold algae-coated depths
Above the surface a dragonfly jerks its crippled flight-path between bouts of hovering stasis
In the midst of an ominous mosquito hum
A Kookaburra laughs

numb1

Don’t cry tutu-princess, tender poet, loving mum

The monster won’t let you see your love within the house

So fly the coop, make your own nest and kick him in the bum

A comfortable nest where flowers boom

And mushrooms zoom and sunlight shines forever

Don’t cry precious woman, heavenly comforter, gorgeous lady

The monster will lose when you stand up to him

And tell him to get stuffed

Then off to your own four walls

Where life isn’t as rough

flower

Cabalistic carbuncles fester in skin
Subtle essences impregnate the moment
Mental metal moribund musings
On existential angst
Dead density of weight
Of lonely love sinks
Eyes go white
No pupils
Fangs in flesh
Blood runs like water
Vaginas open like flowers
Flowers open like vaginas
Crackle of dried flesh
Skeletal schemes to steal Christmas
Broken traditions
Lugubrious laconic lies
To bamboozle and befuddle
Suburban minds
Thousands of people only doing their jobs
Making a meaning from endless ends
Absorbing mortgages that last forever
Here’s a yellow sticker on your car
Here’s a five hundred dollar fine
Here’s a dead dog full of maggots
Where’s the dope?
