A just but cruel Angel pulsates as bone is broken and minds ripped open

A tortured assassin waits for the warp and weft of the world to untangle

A frenzied demon cuts throats ad infinitum in hell

Things are not well

Out of sync, caustic and crapulent

Cryptic moments flicker-framed in twilight

Slow-motion mind-meld with the detritus of existence

Mysterious esoteric forces at work

Lockstep illusion production to mystify the arcane world

Lurkers and little green men planning our movements

In intricate patterns

It’s all mapped out man

cannabis-cup-640x401

Chop up about half a gram of green crumbly weed

With some tobacco

Take a pipe, and fill it with the mix

Ignite and inhale

Almost always cough

Don’t you love it when that warm satisfying numbness

Invades your brain and settles into your body

Kisses your cranium and renders you stoned impervious to paranoia

A rush of green apathy and carefree abandon as eyes redden

Loneliness fades and anxiety dissipates

Music starts to sound like crystal stars floating through the ether

Everything is more amusing

Everything is beautiful

Thanks to magical marijuana

Cones make patterns in my brain

Cones will never fuck your veins

Cones make music shimmer and sing

Cones make life a better thing

Cones make sex a funky thrill

Cones are much more fun than pills

Cones will clear up your depression

Cones will help your self-expression

Cones are crumbly, cones are green

Cones will never make you mean

Cones have brought me stoner friends

Cones will make your suffering end

most-beatiful-women-08

When I was young and green- swollen with sap
A bursting boy, primed to dance among the girls
My nerves conspired to queer me in their eyes
My fumbling frowned their hearts and spurred their mocking

Oh suffering, oh tragedy like death
Their brilliant breasts were hidden from my eyes
Their lips denied me by this knot of fate
My heart burned like a violent Vindaloo

And so I followed like a puppy dog
Behind she who had captured all my soul
Nice guy behaviour- just trying to be a friend
Except when I’d had too much alcohol

underwater

Five fathoms down she sprays into the wound
Thrice blessed by intimate hints of soul decay
Because she doesn’t even know the way
To crackle in the moonlight with no sound

Five fathoms down she spits upon the wound
The wound that wondered what to do on Wednesday
Blessed sentiment that seeped through cracks
And laid a holy woman on her back

Five fathoms down she spews into the wound
So poisoning oil will spread through festering flesh
And soon become entangled in a mesh
That whistles apathy with flagrant wind

Five fathoms down she stabs into the wound
Leaves green contusions all over the skull
Knocks down the trees that bend towards the dawn
Then sweeps into a dream of sex and sin

Five fathoms down she fists into the wound
Breathing skin and bestial wailing shrieks
Into misogynist ears of corpulent Lords
Who mutter, grumble, spit and play the chords
Of bigotry and bastardry abroad

plants

A spring of life drives flowers upward
Each sacred petal blooming energized to the moon
Chemically charged and vegetable driven
Toward the secret sentience of heaven

All abounding plant-flesh of the bush
Each solid stolid woody stem of flora
Enslaved to other life by love
Enriched by mineral power and fusing molecules

Photosynthesizing and effervescing with succulent sailor sap
Fragrancing air with fecund life-force
Tears of dew bless each leaf iridescent
Vegetation erupts in slow motion from earth with pure libidinous passion

Holy subtle quiet movement of expansion
Holy vegetable joy-frenzy of foliage
Holy soaring jarrah trees and microscopic fungus
Holy whole green world in sun’s sensual light
